stuff has been honored in so many ways, from the continued support of our wonderful customers, to the accolades and honors we have received from the media and the art community. we are happy to share some of these achievements with you here.
we continue to strive to earn the respect of our community and our friends.
25 Under 25
stuff has been honored as a recipient of the 25 Under 25 award by Kansas City Small Business Monthly.
this award is given each year to an extraordinary selection of area small businesses, and we are proud to be among this remarkable group.
from our award letter from KCSBM:
"This award was created to recognize 25 outstanding Kansas City area small businesses with fewer than 25 employees. We received a record number of exceptional nominations, and we are proud to count your company among the 2008 award recipients."

Niche Top 25
& Top 100
it all started when stuff was honored in 2004 by a nomination as one of the Top 100 Retailers of American Fine Craft in the United States by Niche Magazine. and it happened again in 2005.
then, in 2006, stuff was nominated for the new Top 25 award. and boy, oh boy, it has happened again in 2007!
we can't believe our lucky stars.
the coolest part of these nominations is that artists picked us...not some membership-dues-paying, professional business organization.
now that inspires us and makes us smile.

Casey Simmons and Sloane Simmons have each been asked by the Smoky Hill River Festival organizers to be jurors of the Four Rivers Craft Market in Salina, Kansas. in march, 2006, Casey joined a panel of two other jurors to select craftspeople whose work would be featured at the event. in june, she traveled again to Salina, this time to the festival in Oakdale Park to help select the award winners for the event. in 2007, Sloane did the same, helping to select and award the best craftspeople from all around. who says you just can't get a good jury? |
