Shortly after Christmas my daughter and I went camping in coastal California. It was peaceful. It was also nice to be outside (although a bit colder than we had wanted) all day, every day. We spent most of one day on this beach.
It was the perfect way to spend a day.
A couple of days ago I posted this blog. When I came across this image today, I thought it was a great addition to the stacking stones images.

I was walking the beaches of Big Sur on Christmas Day! The best treasures from my trip, rocks and driftwood! It was beautiful, breathtaking and I didn’t want to leave. How fun to be able to camp and watch the day change to night . We also saw lots of stacked stones!

Isn’t it so fantastic to be on the coast in winter? I loved the way I took more time to just sit, watch and listen to the world around me. Summer beaching is one of my favorite past times. But, the calm and deserted beaches on winter are a very special treat. Thank you for sharing your story. I really enjoyed your words. :Casey
